What a Long Week

Even with Monday a holiday this week seemed to drag on forever, with plastic bullets, pepper spray, and tear gas down south of here one would think we were in Beirut or someplace else in the World.... but YESSS Big Brother IS Watching You, just the other day I took a jaunt thru the local best Buy store after about a month abstains only to find that they now have a " music store" with musical instruments, so I picked up a cd and went to pay only to notice signs " check and credit cards only in this checkout" and now they only have a couple of registers for " cash purchases" then about two days ago I got an e-mail about airline deals etc and in it they listed some of the airlines that no longer accept " cash" to purchase tickets, I recall about 17 years ago (give or take a year) and one of my teachers from a business class who used to work for American Express stated that " everything will go to "credit cards" and cash will be the black market payment method, and talked about the good of such transactions and ease but also stated the bad such as the companies and government will be able to track every transaction you make as well as all of your movements around the country as well as the world.... some of the students just laughed the guy off as some old ex-hippie paranoid fart, But he used ta work at American Express in a very high position and was this a " warning " of a long term plan for the World? just like the neocons and their " Century for America" ?



Well on a lighter note I spent last night unwinding and relaxing with the Minneapolis Band" Sick Of Sarah " and will follow up soon with highlights of the interview and some more pix.
