Seattle Day II

I awake @ 6 am and am out on the street by 6:15, there is no rain, still dark and traffic is actually restively sparse on HWY 99, I walk down to Pier 52 (The Ferry Boats) then double back and head up Union and over thru the Market, people are just setting up for the day and stop for a fresh Roll and dbl shot mocha I then head down the steps (feeling the pain in my shins, about 15 years ago I could go up and down these steps and hills no problem with out getting tired) I walk back over to the hotel but pass it and stop off for another mocha then about a block walk back to the hotel, I go up to my room, call my mother and wish her a Happy Birthday then head into the shower, I get out and head to my seminar, I got in a 2 and a half mile walk, some pictures and all before 8 am. The worse part about the seminar is that it was partly cloudy out, not raining and I was stuck in a room with about 25 other people while the city called my name, so I downed cup after cup of Starbucks Coffee and bottle after bottle of San Banedetto sparkling Water (as Mr. Krabs would say...Hey It's Free) I waited until 4 pm then I was FREE ..

My Boss and I walked over to Myrtle Edwards Park and I found a rock with some Barnacle on it for my son (he loves his Spongebob squarepants, and anyone who don't is a Barnacle Head) then we walked over and headed up Clay Street and down Western, we walked along the way checking out the sites, and then headed over to Pioneer Square, seen a very sexy Asian girl bent over doing something in her car and her thong was sticking out of her pants, as I was about to take a picture she got up Damn the luck.... as we carried on I was surprised to see such a change in store fronts , many a furniture store, just as at Pikes Market, I remember many an artist shop?gallery/ now so many "food and coffee" stores, there was a wonderful floral store on the corner and now it's gone.... well we had a great walk and almost got chewed up by a dog fight between a Pitbull and Rot, damn jerkasses, we then headed to Ivars,(ok I twisted my Bosses Arm) no not the sit down fancy part this time, but the fast food part, ahhh YESSSS I was able to get my clam chowder (again) and my deep fried salmon, we headed back to the hotel to chow down, it was wonderful, the wind blowing and the aroma of marine life we parted ways and ate in our rooms, we hooked up at 8 in the Lobby and waited for the shuttle to take us to the Cloud Room, only to have my heart broken to find out some asshole bought the Camlin Hotel and tore it down to build bigger and newer.... Fucking Prick ah what sweet memories I had ..... so we ended up going to the Cyclops and only 3 blocks away from our Hotel, the Jamz were good, the brew fine, we headed down to the Edgewater about 10:30 and ended up in the bar there until closing ahh what a night what a night......

Bring On The Clowns

As I sit here relaxing from a nice week in the Jet City, I was reading the weird news and listening to Deadbolt and surprise surprise....

a story about clowns, guess Patches is pretty pissed off at someone.

The trip was an excellent break form the Minnesota winter, a typical Seattle winter day greeted us as we arrived, nice and rainy, temp in the upper 30's. after a crampet full flight it was nice to streach my legs in the limo, nothing like pulling up to the Edgewater in style.

checking in went pretty fast a then up ta my room, to quickly drop off my bags, meet the boss downstairs in the lobby then it was off to Ivars and playing tour guide ( boss appointed me to show him around the city) as we walked along the waterfront with a slight drizzle, it was such a dissappointment to see all the new condos and radison hotel along Alaskan way blocking the view of looking up at the city, when I was last here it was parking lots, rail tracks and black berry bushes. Once at Ivars, my boss decided we should eat inside the "dinner" area of the restraunt, rather than the fast food area, I feasted on a bowl of clam chowder, and deep fried oysters with a redhook to wash it down.

then a jaunt thru Pikes Place Market and off to radioshack for a new camera battery as mine was going dead. we then caught the monorail to the space needle for a tour. the winds that day were about 40 mph so the elevator was operating at only half normal speed which was great for video taping, as for the walk outside, there is nothing like being 600 feet up in the air and having a blast of 40+ mph wind hit you never the less I fought the winds and snapped some shots, I only wish it had been a clear day so my boss could have seen the Olympic and Cascade mountains from the tower, however he enjoyed himself, then it was down and a stroll around the center area before taking the train back and a jaunt thru the market before we headed back to the hotel, I took a quick shower and met up at the restraunt-bar where we dined. After the meal I returned to my room and relaxed to some mp3 jamz, the fireplace, and some pear cider watching the rain and night life outside my window. Ahh Yes day one, what a great day, a great day to be back.

Hugo Chavez Hero or Axis of Evil?

As the USA continues to scramble to "bring in" the Latin American Left leaning countries back to our side...er domination Hugo Chavez continues to be a sharp thorn in the side of King George, Prick Cheney, and Pat Robertson, (speaking of Pat, I thought Christians were suppose to be a peaceful and loving group, Not call of killing a leader of another country just because of disagreements and is this freedom? what about those gold and diamond mines you own in Africa?) But I do not see the king doing very much for the common people here in the USA and for that matter the Republican party , yep even the common Lilly white folk been getting a big FUCK U by the party and it's puppet masters. As for personally affecting me? well all have had a major effect on me, my fuel prices have gone up dramatically, as well as other costs, but for many including right here in the great Midwest it is Chavez who came to the rescue NOT Bush Not Robertson (and his oil refinery) Not Coleman or the Republican Party but Mr Chavez, by his generous donations of of fuel oil to Native Americans and poor Minorities some folks in Minnesota received some free fuel oil and Lp Gas from his countries petroleum company Citgo. No strings attached, no conditions, so why is is the American oil companies continue to screw us over with their 600+% profits, Republicans vote for tax cuts for the rich and continuation of corporate welfare and yet try to label a man who took control of his countries resources and nationalized them, last time I checked a countries resource was supposed ta be part of their national security so one Does NOT have to go to war over such matters, so on the one hand it is ok to let resources funnel out of your country to make profits and at the same time raid other countries of the very same thing, But what can one expect from a country who's symbol is a bird of prey and scavenger, I mean really what kind of country would we be if ole Ben Franklin had is way and we had the good ole American Turkey? so Mr Chavez this Cachasa shot is for you and perhaps there shall be a birth of economic trade between the tribes of the USA and your country that will benefit all the middle class and poor of both countries, while we are at it, why stop there? When is there going to be some real attempts for trade with Palestine and Lebanon?

and after considering all the options I feel this one will be successful

So the question is why are democrats flocking around Lieberman and Hillary when both support this idiot and keep saying "stay the course? perhaps THEY need to be voted out.

Freezes,floods fuck global warming

well we are having our previous"normal weather" a month late , the past several years snowfall has been extremely low, glaciers melting and yet the neocons say global warming is a myth or if it is actually happening it is "natural" NOT caused by humans, well assholes wake the fuck up, but perhaps I am preaching to the wrong crowed, today I personally witnessed five women driving Chevy suburbans as if they actually needed such a vehicle to wheel around in not to mention how many trucks that were NEVER used for actual work, so in some ways I say we get what we deserve, but then I think of my 4 year old son, ....should he suffer in the future because of the fucktards of today? I think not! the more I look at the wastefulness and stupidity of this country the more I understand why the rest of the world hates us, seriously folks anyone can drive a half an hour at most any time of day or night and buy chips, candy or soda 24 hours a day 365 days a year, and I walked in lands where children who received a soda twice a year was a luxury ah yes living is easy with eyes closed.
