Well let me tell you about the past couple of weeks of shit....first my computer decides to die, I loose both my memory stick and my hard drive and yes folks I lost photos and other files that were not backed up... damn like can be the shits at times, but that is the reality of the digital world we live in, a click here can produce bliss and then another click ...it's gone forever.......to make things even more painful yours truly had the pleasure of having one of my varieties of prickly pear cactus fall in my face and chest... of course this just happen to be the type with thousands of small spines and a fuckin pain in the ass to remove...in other words yo just have to deal...as they are so small to remove but hurt like hell and annoying so for the next 4 days it was pain and suffering, although it should have happened sooner as I have many a variety of cacti and so far most have been very pleasant and generous to me... guess it was pissed off for not transplanting into a larger pot sooner... so yes that learned me a good lesson....don't piss off your cacti or else pay the ultimate price, pictures to appear soon as I have lost all previous photos sorry folks....

Tonight I was transfering some more of my cacti to larger pots and my fingers now feel like a pin cussion and no leather gloves do not stop the needlesfrom sticking intoyour fingers, but hey the plants appreciate the room for growth, I tell you it is so damn hard ta get good cactus mix these days so one has to turn to making your own, yes it's a pain in the ass especially for those of us that are not located in or near a desert, however I happen to be located near some gravel pits, Lake Superior, and many peat swamps so I just dig some peat, dig some sand and greavel, add some ground limestone and POOF cactus medium to make my cacti happy plants once again here is a sampling of some of my cacti I transplanted and need toyet to transplant, a few varieties of pricly pear cacti, hedehog, echinocereus,severalvariety of trichocereus, and a few others

Thanksgiving

Yes Indeed folks it's that time of year in the bad old USA where people stuff themselves stupid, while others around the world go hungry and are dying from violence and war...... yes a time to be thankful for "Black Friday" when the zombies go crazy and literally fight over "thneeds" at prices so ridiculous to believe only to get the sheep into the stores and find out that there are only ten $150.00 dvd players at $20.00available for the thousands who show up. I mean really ...people waiting in line all night into the wee hours of the morning to be the first inside the stores?..... Now I can see waiting in line all night for a music concert of your favorite artist/band... but to go shopping? Yes it is a time to be thankful that WE are NOT the ones dying in Iraq, yes we can be thankfull we still have cheap gas for our gas guzzling cars and trucks , we can be thankfull that we are eating gmo and foods pumped with growth hormones and pesticides harvested by slave labor, ah yes we need to keep India and China working while helping to contribute to the speed of Global Warming, Yes Thankful for a White house of Traitors s and Constitution Shredders, be Thankful for lighting up our yards with needless decorations and lights pumping more mercury and acid rain into the atmosphere and now for my annual ritual of listening to "A Thanksgiving Prayer" I only wonder what kind of world my son will have when he reaches my age....if there is still a world in existence.....



so how will you spend yours?..........I'll spend mine with my son and parents gratefull I am where I am and have what I have at others expense and that I am np longer totin a gun for "uncle sam"

Paul Raven - Rest In Peace 1961 - 2007Saturday, October 20, 2007 - The 13th Planet family is saddened to confirm the devastating news of the sudden and unexpected death of Ministry's bassist, Paul Raven. Raven was working with French recording artists Treponem Pal on their new collaboration with Ted Parsons (ex-Prong/ex-Killing Joke/Jesu) and members of The Young Gods in a small village on the French/Swiss border. Initial reports indicate Raven's passing was the result of a heart attack. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Raven's family and friends around the world. His love of life, artistic creations and joyful laughter touched and moved all of us deeply. The loss of this extraordinary artist, unique individual and loyal friend will be felt by many. The impact of his talents will be remembered forever but his contribution to the lives of everyone who knew him is his greatest legacy.


As I sit here updating my playlist and reviewing music I decided to take a break and just relax and listen to some Ministry and pay tribute to a great musician, so Raven I raise my glass and salute you with " Frontera" Caremenere , I was truly looking forward to seeing you on the Last Ministry Tour in early 2008...................................The Splinkster Thanks You for your musical Bliss and happiness you have brought us

Be All You Can Be was the slogan the Army used when I was back in HS and lo and behold these fucktards gave yours truly a call last Monday asking me if I was interested in "Joining" I was Like WHAT???? This brings back memories of the US Marshall's request to join their team, now I seriously thought of it but they could NOT guarantee me I would get a job on International Flights to Eastern Europe, Hell at least the NAVY gave me the West Coast Guarantee and everyone knows what NAVY stands for...NEVER AGAIN VOLUNTEER YOURSELF. Wise Words, personally I would love to see a draft for the Peace Corps. NOW THAT WOULD BE A WORTHY DRAFT, ....just as long as we U.S.Citizens were going to learn and NOT to try to force unrealistic prat ices on cultures that are far wiser than our so called help.....
